The Japa Map is one-time — what if I need another plan later?
If your situation changes significantly (new savings target, different country, completed a course), you can purchase another The Japa Map at $39. The Stay Updated subscription ($7/mo) keeps your existing dashboard and alerts active between plans — it does not generate new plans, it keeps the existing one live and sends you policy change notifications relevant to your route.
What does the 30-day dashboard access mean?
When you purchase a Plan, your dashboard (with your plan, checklist, job listings, and YouTube library) stays accessible for 30 days. After that, add the Stay Updated subscription to keep access going. Your plan document is always emailed to you — you never lose it.
What are policy-change alerts exactly?
When a government changes something that affects your specific route — a salary threshold, a CRS cut-off, an occupation going off the shortage list — we detect it, generate a personalised plain-language explanation of what it means for your profile, and send it to you. You review a human-approved alert, not a raw scraper output. This is only available on Stay Updated.
Why is Premium "after visa approval only"?
Premium covers the settling-in phase: your first 90 days in the country, job search after arrival, and cultural integration. It has no value before you have a visa. The Plan covers the pre-application phase — knowing your best route, preparing your profile, and filing with confidence.
I already purchased the old The Japa Map. What happens to me?
Nothing changes for existing purchases — your access and any included Clarity Calls are exactly as described when you bought. The new pricing applies to new purchases only.
Can I use the Carry Them Along for any family member?
Yes — the Carry Them Along ($59) covers a spouse, child, parent, sibling, or any friend. The purchaser fills the form on their behalf and gets a unique share code (JR-XXXX-XXXX). The companion redeems it on their own account for full access. Total cost for two full plans: $59 vs $78 if bought separately.
